The Internet’s funny way of being, err, funny!

Even though we love what we do, there are times when we need to stop thinking about the bars and and the pies. Ok, maybe not the bars. While we do the walks, the coffees, the talks and the smokes, there is something else that makes for a pretty awesome break too – quick and refreshing – “Internet funny”. With the Internet, there are so many ways of being funny that it is not funny. So without further ado, here’s bringing you all the awesome resources we overdose on every day.

GraphJam

If you work on charts and graphs day in and day out, would you really want to check out more graphs for a break? With GraphJam, yes sir.

Failbook

Facebook is no more a social networking tool, it is a way of life. So when youngsters boast about their escapades on Facebook only to have their parents commenting on it or when someone makes a smart ass comment only to be dumbed down by their friends AND it all ends up on Failbook, it is an absolute riot. I think I am more thankful to Zuckerberg for inspiring Failbook than creating Facebook.

M thru F (Monday Through Friday)

M thru F is the celebration of workplace fails. If you are someone who works from home and thought how awesome it was, this is where you learn what you are missing in life.

xkcd

In the world of geeks, xkcd is legendary. So much so that there is a website explaining every xkcd comic that has come out, forums discussing whether the cartoon of the day is funny or not and people wanting to know what is the font used on the cartoon.

Clients from Hell

A collection of anonymously contributed client horror stories from designers; Clients from Hell will have you nodding your head in agreement while you go through the stories.

The Oatmeal

The Oatmeal is a website featuring comics, quizzes and articles on pretty much everything under the sun. It is the creation of Mathew Inman, a designer, developer and marketeer all rolled into one. Personally, Inman is a huge inspiration to me. What you will love most about The Oatmeal is the drawing style and how Inman relates two things that you thought were completely unrelated. [Warning: The Oatmeal’s language is pretty free-flowing]

You will also enjoy his take on what your email address says about you and 10 types of crappy interviewees.

Uncyclopedia

If you thought Wikipedia was the greatest invention of the 21st century, check out Uncyclopedia. Then think again. Uncyclopedia is a satirical website that parodies Wikipedia to the extent that their logo is a hollow potato that serves as a parody of Wikipedia’s globe logo.

For starters, learn more about the Internet and Wikipedia (I know, how meta). [Warning: The visuals are mostly clean but the language is not the most politically correct]

A Stack Overflow thread

You know Stack Overflow as the goto site for all programming Q&A. With this thread on the “best” comments ever encountered in source code, you might just change your perception. It’s hilarious.

Dilbert

Dilbert is legendary. Enough said.

Outsource Gupta

Outsource Gupta explores the funny side of the world of outsourcing.

Our About page

Our About page is funny. Seriously. It brings out the weirdest facts and deepest secrets about everyone in the team. Reading everyone’s bios is as much fun as thinking about the process that went behind it.

Google Autocomplete

The world is not as weird as you thought it was. It’s weirder. And the instant proof of this is Google Autocomplete. [Thank to Royal Pingdom for inspiring this] And here’s what it has to say about itself: What are we missing out on? Are there more ways to kill time in office? Let us know your favorite hangouts.
