- Professional License: For any developer who implements FusionCharts/FusionMaps in FileMaker solutions for himself/client.
- Seat License: For each FileMaker installation that will display the charts/maps created using FusionCharts/FusionMaps.

- Each Professional License allows you to develop on any number of machines (both Mac/Windows), as long as you're the named developer for that license.
- Any developer who modifies the implementation of FusionCharts/FusionMaps previously done by some other developer needs another Professional License.
- Users who view the charts/maps in FileMaker and modify the data presented by charts/maps using an interface provided by the developer do NOT need a Professional License. They just need 1 Seat license per FileMaker installation.
- Each FileMaker installation needs 1 Seat license of FusionCharts/FusionMaps, irrespective of the number of applications on that installation using FusionCharts/FusionMaps to plot charts/maps.
- Even if you're using FileMaker Server (or any other technology) to stream charts to multiple FileMaker clients, each client needs a FusionCharts/FusionMaps Seat license.
