Dual axis - Line with zooming & panning Part of FusionCharts XT
With the dual y-axis, the zoom line dual y-axis chart can be used to plot data that belongs to datasets having different numeric units on the same chart, an advantage over using the conventional zoom-line chart. It consists of multiple lines plotted against two y-axes, the axis to the right of the chart is the primary y-axis and the axis to the left is the secondary y-axis. Each line in the chart represents a category and data points which belong to it. The chart's zooming and panning features allows analyzing thousands of data points at the macroscopic and microscopic levels. This chart can be used for plotting a huge amount of data like the website visits per day and the corresponding sales per day for a year.
Best Practices for Using Dual Y-Axis Zoom Line Charts
- Limit the chart to show relationship between two variables instead of highlighting many at a time.
