Grouped column with multiple series : Chart Gallery

The Multi-series Column 2D chart is used to plot data for multiple datasets. It is also used to analyze and compare data points grouped in sub-categories. It has vertically aligned rectangular bars on one axis with discrete values shown on the other. The length of a column is proportionate to the values it represents.

Where this chart is typically used: This chart can be used to visualize data such as the revenue for each month for a couple of years.

Best Practices:

Emphasize on color to highlight different datasets properly.
Start the y-axis at 0 to accurately reflect the proportionate difference in data.
Use the legend and x-axis labels to improve readability.
Use trend-lines to add more insights to the data plotted.
