Pareto with dual axis Part of FusionCharts XT
The Pareto 2D chart offers a visualization that features a combination of the line chart and column chart. The chart is based on the Pareto Principle, also known as the 80/20 rule, which states that roughly 80 percent of effects come from 20% of causes. The columns show relative frequency ranging from high to low and the line chart shows cumulative frequency. Broadly, the chart is used to analyze data about the frequency of events and their causes in a process. It is also used to help determine and focus on the most significant causes.
Best Practices for Pareto with Dual Axis Chart :
- Pareto charts are extremely useful for analyzing problems, so categories should be highlighted and tooltips should be used to show additional information.
- Values of the secondary axis should be shown in percentage.
